Thanks for the info well technically the island has a fourth final boss. The three final bosses in the Island are quite hard to consider beating solo for me :/ I guess I wondered if one map was a bit more concise than the Island and maybe had one major boss instead of 3 and was possibly more suited to a solo experience that has some kind of "end" or final boss. It is more about which map in the sense of which one has the easiest, as if that's a thing, bosses to solo, or, a singular boss making that map "beatable", is what I'm looking for. Only survival challenge other wise to be aware of is it has areas with intentional temperatures that can and will kill you very quickly if unprepared. Ragnarok is a "build your base here" map with tons of places intentionally created on the map for bases. Explore the Boreal Forest, the deep Jungle, beautiful Redwoods, and its terrifying lair. The environment is absolutely stunning, with great base locations and unique views, adding rainbows and occasional auroras. It is a very large map and has more species of creatures (including wyvern and griffin) but whether that would be easier or more of a challenge for you depends. The map allows new players to discover hidden depths and impressive heights. Ragnarok is another alternative map for similar but it is not a story canon map and has different ascension methods. It also has the story lore and ascension system as the devs intended. ![]() If you're new, haven't done any ascension/boss fights, and are playing on single player, then the island is recommended because it has less species of dinos, begins teaching you the basics in regards to survival challenges with different biomes and dinos and resource limitations etc. I know, bit of a vague question but I'm kinda casual.
